For Christmas, I received a macro lens. Rarely has the outdoors excited me more. Each batch of images has details not seen while photographing. Spider webs, mold spores, fine hairs, etc.

The Nikon camera I have used for years is a D90. There are other cameras I would happily love to use. One of these days, I will upgrade.

Tree Fungi

If you are at all interested in macro photography, I seriously recommend saving for/purchasing a macro lens. It makes all the difference. Trust me.

Wild Daisy

All of these images were taken outside close to home.
